• Am I required to bring my own furniture?

    No, there is no need to bring and/or buy anything to the dorm. Your own personal belongings are just fine.

  • Can I choose my roomate?
    Fortunately, yes. You may make a request once you complete your initial online application and another one through Microsoft Forms.
  • Which room types will be offered?
    The university will offer single and double rooms. The capacity and/or the prices may subject to change, so it is the student's job to frequently check the website (http://kulhouse.konkuk.ac.kr/home/lang/eng/e_index_01.asp) before applying. Futher information and announcements will also be communicated to students through email.
  • Can I get Wi-Fi access on campus?
    Yes, of course. You can get it anywhere (both student residence and on campus) at any time on for free of charge.
  • Is laundry included?
    Yes, laundry access is included in room costs. The dorm offers self-serve laundry facilities with washers, dryers, and irons provided on the first floor.
  • What should I pack?
    You should bring a pillow, towels, toiletries, bed sheets, blankets, clothing, laundry detergent, laundry basket, and all school supplies. Since most of these products can be found in any convenience stores, you don't need to worry if you cannot pack all of these in your luggage!
  • Are pets allowed?
    Unfortunately, no. Pets are NOT permitted to keep in the dorm and on school grounds. Serious consequences and/or punishment will be given to you if you get caught.
  • Do I have to sign up for a meal plan?

    Fortunately, meal plans are optional for those students living in dorms and so, you don't have to worry too much about what to have by yourself and/or with your friends in Korea. For those students who wish to apply, please make sure to do two things in advance:


    1) Check the website (http://kulhouse.konkuk.ac.kr) for instructions 

    2) See someone who can help you with your Korean if you have food allergies

  • How do I apply for residence?

    Before doing anything, it is highly recommended to check the website (http://kulhouse.konkuk.ac.kr/home/lan/eng/e_index_01.asp) for residence application dates and deadlines. Once you've submitted your application, you will receive notice on whether or not you've been accepted via email and the University website. If you fail to register (on time), you are NO LONGER eligible for housing and must look for accommodation for short and/or long-term stay in Korea. You can ask the employees in the Administrative Office (building #6) or your teachers for futher assistance if you have trouble with Korean.
